Georgina Talfana is a qualified International Mountain Leader based in Verbier, in the Swiss canton of Valais. Georgina has been leading groups of adults and children in rolling mountainous terrain since 2002. She has trekked all over Switzerland including the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt and over the high mountain passes in the Bernese Overland.
Summer trekking
Georgina can lead individuals, couples, families and small groups in the stunning mountains surrounding Verbier. Starting out from your accommodation or a designated point, Georgina will help you to get the most out of your trek in the mountains and return you to your home safely. Georgina will help tailor your route to your level of ability and experience, incorporating time for any interests that you may have, such as photography, sketching, flora & fauna, cultural history and geology. Georgina can lead you on day walks, multi days from your accommodation and hut to hut hikes.
Winter snowshoeing
Verbier has many walking and snowshoeing routes available in winter. Georgina can lead you safely up to many different mountain cafes for a cosy traditional Valaisan lunch and back down by mid afternoon.
